THE SCHOOL OF EUS AT IDLCare
Endoscopic ultrasonography(EUS) has made rapid strides in the last few years, and has become an essential part of diagnosis and management of GI and Liver disorders. As EUS procedure has progressed, there has arisen a need for properly trained endosonographers. The School of EUS was envisioned keeping this growing need for trained endosonographers in mind.
The School imparts training utilizing modern methods including lectures, videos, animal models, 3-D models, and hands-on training. During the Covid epidemic, we also began virtual training, where a student can learn from comfort of clinic or home.
EUS COURSE
Utilising our pioneering virtual lab methodology, we use a combination of weekly live case demonstrations, lectures and direct feedback, and assessment of student videos to train our students in cutting edge EUS techniques. This course is particularly well suited for the current Pandemic environment ,given its 100 percent virtual format. Our previous batches have included students from over 10 countries-we embrace a global, diverse and science first approach to learning.
